UTAH

The Weekend Recap

This was genuinely just one of those trips that we wish could've lasted just a little bit longer. The vibes were just right, and it's something about visiting snowy, mountainous regions, that just put me in such a peaceful head space. I'm constantly in awe of God's beautiful work, but it's seriously just something about seeing the beautiful skylines and mountains that just take it over the top for me!

I'm so grateful to God for every blessing - my life, my family, my health... if it wasn't for His goodness, grace and mercy, I'm not sure that we'd even have today's blog post to share.

The ability to travel, near or far is such a blessing - one that I will never take for granted. I'm also so thankful for what God is doing in the lives of our dearest friends whom we had the privilege of visiting this trip! God is truly at work in the lives of our loved ones and this trip was a special showcase of that!

Last month, we traveled to Utah to visit and support my husband's best friend (and Karrington's God father) who coaches college football at BYU.

This was a super quick weekend trip, but of course, I had to capture some of it to share with you guys! Here's a peek into one of the most amazing weekends of OUR year.

Game Day | Day 1

The game wasn't scheduled to start until later that evening, so we decided to take things slow. We started the day off with coffee and a little retail therapy at a nearby shopping center. Afterwards, we met up with our friends for lunch at a place called Hall Pass and opted for some Nashville style Hot Chicken from a place called Blaze of Thunder - the food was pretty good, nothing spectacular, but the atmosphere and overall experience was definitely worth mentioning!

My Starbucks Order:
Chai Tea Latte with Soy Milk, No Water

After lunch, we decided to head back to our room to relax a bit before driving out to Provo for the game! Check out some of the pics from the game below...

Home | Day 2

Day two was spent traveling back home to our boys! We definitely missed them, but this solo trip was so needed.

Although our trip to Utah was super quick, it was truly an unforgettable one.
Thankful and grateful are true understatements!

Until next time,
Amari E.
