Welcome Baby Harper

Psalm 127: 3-5

"Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD, the fruit of the womb is a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, so are the children of one’s youth. Happy is the man who has his quiver full of them; they shall not be ashamed, but shall speak with their enemies in the gate."

Our baby boy is finally here, and I'd have to say that the transition from one to two was definitely a lot easier than the transition from zero to one. I'm not sure what it is, but I just feel more sure of myself and my role as a mother this time around. That's not to say that there hasn't been sleepless nights or hectic day to day routines while caring for both a newborn and toddler, but I can honestly say that it has truly been a joy and a breath of fresh air to be "mommy" to these two beautiful tiny humans.

I gave birth to this sweet boy at 37 weeks, and had a natural/unmedicated birth just as I did with Karrington. This time around, by choice, but still the best yet most painful experience of my life lol. Labor and delivery tend to progress very quickly for me, so he was out after about two-three pushes!

If I'm honest, Harper was born during a very difficult season of our life, and his arrival brought back a sense of joy and happiness that had been absent from our home for awhile. God makes no mistake, and the gift of this precious boy proves that each and every day.

I am so thankful and grateful to God for this amazing opportunity. He has blessed us two times over with the most precious gifts. I'm in awe daily and can't wait to watch them mature into beautiful God fearing men.

If you've been following along for some time, then you probably already know how much I absolutely adore motherhood. I've cherished both the highs and lows of this journey, and feel so blessed to mother these two beautiful boys.

As I'm writing this, I'm six weeks postpartum and fully immersed into this motherhood thing! I've officially returned back to work, so I have much more of a "balanced" day to day routine aside from our new night time normal of waking every few hours for feedings (one thing I absolutely did NOT miss about the newborn stage haha), but all in all, I'm so excited to witness our boys grow up together as best friends.

Here's a little peek into the first six weeks with our newest little love!
